Frequently Asked Questions

1. What areas do you cover?

I’m a North West wedding photographer based in Lancashire, and I cover weddings across Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester, and throughout the UK. No matter where your big day is, I’m happy to travel to capture it.

2. What is your photography style?

My style is natural, candid, and relaxed. I focus on capturing genuine moments and real emotions rather than stiff, posed photos. You’ll get beautiful storytelling images that reflect your day authentically.

3. Do you photograph both group shots and couple portraits?

Absolutely! While I specialise in candid moments, I also make time for group photos and couples’ portraits. I keep these sessions relaxed and stress-free, so you get stunning images without spending hours away from your guests.

4. How far in advance should we book?

It’s best to book as early as possible, especially if your wedding is during peak season. Many couples in Lancashire, Cheshire, and Manchester book 12–18 months in advance to secure their date.  But why not get intouch and ask about my availability!

Frequently Asked Questions

5. Do you offer a second shooter?

Yes! A second shooter can be added to your package at an additional cost and is something I would definitely recommend for larger weddings, giving extra coverage of wedding preparations, multiple angles, guest reactions, and key moments happening simultaneously.

6. Do you charge travel expenses?

Travel within 75 miles of my home address is included. For weddings beyond 75 miles, a small travel fee applies, which will be discussed clearly at the time of booking or when requesting a quote.

7. Can we meet before the wedding?

Definitely! I love meeting my couples in person (or virtually if needed) to get to know you, chat about your plans, and answer any questions...infact I absolutely encourage it. You get to meet me, put a face to the name which helps put you at ease and make your wedding day photography feel relaxed and natural.

8. Can you recommend other suppliers?

Absolutely! Over the years, I’ve built a network of trusted venues, florists, videographers, and wedding planners across Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester, and the UK. I’m happy to share recommendations to make your day run smoothly.

Frequently Asked Questions

9.  What equipment do you use?

I shoot with x2 Canon mirrorless bodies and carry a range of prime lenses and lighting, allowing me to capture every moment beautifully — whether natural or low-light I've got your back.  I also have a spare camera with me (just in case an oh s*@t moment happens).

10. Are you insured?

Yes! Absolutely, I have full professional public liability, professional indemnity and equipment insurance, giving you peace of mind.

11. How many images will we receive?

While the industry standard is 50–100 images per hour, I do not restrict the number of images you receive. Every candid, joyful, and beautiful moment of your day will be captured edited in my signature style and delivered via a secure online gallery which you can choose to share with your family and friends should you wish.

12. How do we book?

Booking is simple:

  1. Just get in touch via my contact page.
  2. Tell me about your day.
  3. Secure your date with a booking agreement and 20% deposit.
  4. Happy days!! Your date is then firmly in my diary!!!

My goal is to make your wedding photography experience completely stress-free, from our first chat to the delivery of your beautiful gallery — so you can enjoy your day without a single worry about the camera.
